Update 29th May. - purchased THE most amazing steaks for my Dads 80th birthday. I got a piece of fillet for my Dad and he absolutely loved it. The best steak he had eaten apparently.

My dad buys meat from this butchers. He decided to try it once for a family bbq because it was a local business that he wanted to support, he was so delighted with the quality of the meat and how friendly & helpful the staff were he now gets most meat from here. We like the sausages from here on the bbq or with our Christmas dinner. Absolutely recommend.

After our regular butcher closing (who we went to once and just kept going back to) and looking for a new butcher, i found Woodhouse who I have some how managed to walk past many times without noticing them.
Lovely team, great website with handy click and collect service, in store, very friendly and knowledgably. Oh and of course, great quality produce!
Not sure how I have missed them for so long, shame that old Butcher has closed but happy to have found another great one.

I visited woodhouse for the first time the other day. Hayley was so lovely and really helpful when it came to picking my meat. I ordered chicken kebabs & chicken thighs. You can also select them to be marinated in any type of sauce! We had the meat this week and it was sooo delicious. I seriously can’t believe the difference in the quality compared to supermarket meat. I will 100% be returning :)

Woodhouse sell the best meat and the staff go above and beyond whether it’s making up some of their delicious ready to cook items (kebabs, koftas, specially seasoned sausages, stuffed chicken wrapped in pancetta etc.,) or assisting with a certain cut of meat. If there’s something specific that you need for a recipe they’re more than willing to help you with it. I used to buy from Middleton’s and thankfully Woodhouse is the perfect alternative. I cook a lot of Asian food and described the different cuts I needed and happily provided them. Great produce (amazing flavour), staff and fair prices. Call in advance if you know what you want, will make purchasing more swift.

We absolutely love this butchers and have been recommending them to all our friends and family. We first tried them at Christmas and everyone was blown away by the quality and price. Have used them for some different cuts and bbqs since and plan to start buying more everyday meat there too as it’s so good.
The real charm is the staff are very friendly, helpful and more than happy to help you work out exactly what you need.

Richard and his team are really friendly and helpful. The meat is just exceptional, the quality is superb, and they are happy to tell you how to cook each cut of meat. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. They deserve all the praise that has been left on all the reviews.

Bought some finely sliced beef from here and it is lovely, we spoke to Richard, he was very helpful and knowledgeable and made sure the beef was sliced exactly how we wanted it, great place and great prices for restaurant quality meats.

They have been supplying to restaurants and businesses for years and have not long been trading publicly, if you need good quality tasty meats, this is the place.

Oh and if they don't have what you want, tell them and they will get it for you!

I’m loving receiving my first order today. My order was delivered on time and i have to say the meat looks amazing. I really can’t wait to start cooking some great meals this week!

If you are looking for high quality meats this is the place to go!! I originally inquired about a specific cut of meat (shaved beef for steak bombs/philly cheese steak) and item (beef bones for pho) that wasn't offered on their website and within the hour I had received a reply.

They are prompt with answering any queries and are very knowledgeable. The specific cut of meat that I wanted, they weren't accustomed to, but they took the time to research it to make sure that I would be provided with what I needed. Their click and collect service is very efficient and very easy to use. I placed an order on Friday and picked it up today (Monday).

My partner and I live right across the street from Woodhouse Butchery. I had walked over to see if the order was done. Richard (butcher/director) indicated that it was currently being processed and the meat was being cut. He made sure that the meat was cut the way I wanted it and even showed me a sample which was on point. He stated it should be done within 10 minutes.

My partner and I walked over after 10 minutes to pick up the order and ended up having a very friendly chat with him. He mentioned that he and his wife Jessica have been running the business and he has 34 years of experience. He also mentioned that he comes from a family of butchers (his Dad, Grandad, and great Grandad).

They originally provided services to restaurants and businesses and have recently expanded to the consumer market. If you need anything specific they will do their best to provide it to you. FANTASTIC experience and will buy from again.
